Earlier this Summer we followed the progress of the installation of an 8 KW domestic solar installation by CP Renewables.
Working with a team of 4 (including 2 apprentices), Chief Engineer Chris Poole designed a robust PV system comprised of 18 x 435 Black LONGi Panels. These were installed south facing on a steeply pitched slate roof and routed to a Solax Hybrid Inverter and 11.2 KW battery.
To maintain maximum efficiency, CP also installed SunGo Optimisers to account for seasonal shading of nearby trees. The final steps were the addition of bird protection to reduce the possibility of nesting.
The end result is a future proofed carbon free system that is expected to generate clean power for decades to come .
